Urban outfitters has some really cute stuff. Thats about the only reason i shop there sometimes. The quality is hit or miss and often times items are very overpriced. But about a year ago i ordered a pair of shoes from them that were unfortunately a miss on the quality, though they were not urban outfitters brand. The shoes completely fell apart after a few wears. I contacted customer service and they sent me a new pair. Then just recently (nearly a year after buying these shoes) they put a hold on my account. I had bought something in between this time so they must have just randomly decided to put this hold on. I called them asking why my orders were being cancelled and thats how i found out, they didn't even tell me they were doing it or why until i called. So i find out they wanted me to return the broken shoes and thats why they put my account on hold? I dont know why they didn't just contact me. But anyway i returned the shoes and my account is still on hold? I tried buying the items i wanted with a different name, address, card, email, etc. and THEY STILL get cancelled. Its like im completely blacklisted. Their customer service is super weird in my opinion because of that.

My item return status was shown as received almost a month ago but till date there is no refund processed. Contacted their live chat twice and they told me they cannot confirm if the item was even received. Keep repeating that they do not have this information and that I can only wait (mindlessly). So what is the point of the returns tracking number and status update? I have been more than patient but it is still appalling to receive such replies. ZERO customer service and after sales service. 1st purchase and never again. Bring your business elsewhere guys.

Never and never and never again

Never and never and never again! They give you a shipment date then when the day comes they postpone shipment by another day and so on so on for weeks. I have now an order that was supposed to ship 2 weeks ago and still no news nothing at all.
If you are planning to buy vinyl records, do not rely on the expected shipment date. You must add at least 4 weeks to that. Extremely disappointing experience and they deserve all the low scores in here.
They blame their vendors that they didn't receive the expected amount then leave their customers completely in the dark and waiting and waiting for ever.
Everyone should proceed with a chargeback dispute against UO with their card provider.

Online Shipping

This company is absolutely terrible at communicating tracking, and their carrier lasership is unreliable. My package was lost in the mail and never arrived never order from here!

Crushed Item Due to Carelessness

Ordered a few items from here, which included a candle, and the candle came completely crushed and therefore unable to be used. I know it’s always a bit of a gamble to have candles shipped because of the obvious fragility but there was literally zero attempt to cushion the candle at all. It came barely wrapped and with no cushioning such as bubble wrap or literally anything around it to help protect it. The candle was overpriced in the first place but it was a gift so that’s why I wanted to purchase it and I was left with a missing part of the gift due to their carelessness of throwing items into a box without a second thought.

I have never had such a horrible online…

I have never had such a horrible online shopping experience. I ordered a vinyl as a christmas gift in November 2020 and still havent received it!! I reached out to the online UO chat rooms and all they could tell me was that it was on back order and would be shipped a month later. Then that horrible cycle kept on continuing and the vinyl was supposed to be finally be here on March 22, 2021 and still nothing. So today, March 25th I reached out again asking for answers and when it might be here and they said it wouldnt be shipped until April 24th. So I waited 6 months to eventually end up cancelling the order all together. So frustrating.

Shut This Company Down

After being told an item was in stock, I went to the Las Vegas store and it was not in stock. I then ordered this $26 colander to be shipped to me and they got the shipping address so screwed up, the package delivery could not even be corrected because UPS will only MODIFY or correct one parameter in a misaddress, and they got three parameters wrong---the street number, the unit number, and the zip code! When I complained the company, they offered no solution and took no responsibility. I then "googled" for the exact phrase, "Urban Outfitters Sucks" and 1100 hits were returned from the search.
Another satisfied customer? NOT!

Overpriced and fraud.

I return my item price $29 but only receive refund $15. I contacted 3 times already was told to wait for them to precess refund. First by calling, 2nd via chat, was told to wait. Waited 1 week never get my refund, contacted again and was told 48 hrs, nothing happen. Never shop here ever again. This company is overpriced and fraud.

Ordered my item in November

Ordered my item in November. When I inquire on where it is, I get no actual answers just complete BS.
The manufacturer has the item back in stock, so should UO. They are saying they don’t, after repeatedly pushing back the date.
Be warned if you reach out for help, they might vindictively just not send your order, even if they get it.
Dealing with their customer service lies over the course of months is just not worth it. I’m canceling an order I really wanted, guess they didn’t want to honor the price?
DO NOT ORDER FROM UO.

If you are thinking of ordering there, don't

Let me just start with I usually don't leave bad reviews. But this is absolutely the worst customer service I have EVER experienced. I don't even know how they train their customer service people that multiple people will reassure their customer of the same wrong information over and over again. First, my originally in stock item was placed on backorder. I was very concerned so I contacted customer service. They reassured me many times that the order will not be cancelled. But guess what? The order was cancelled anyway days later. That is not all. They sent me an apology with a $10 discount for my next order over $50. So, I placed the order and the discount code worked. However, I had to cancel the order because I put the wrong address. They told me they are going to apply the $10 balance from their end in 1-2 business days but then I got an email saying that it will not be applied. When I contacted customer service over chat and told them about my issue, none of them could solve the issue so guess what they would transfer me to the next agent and I had to explain the issue a total of 3 times to 3 different agents. In the end, the issue was not solved. Anyways I'll never buy from them again, this is a waste of time and the worst I have ever experienced.

Appalling customer service

I've been trying since Christmas to get a refund for an e-card which was cancelled by UO as I notified them that my goddaughter may have unintentionally deleted it, i was advised I had to purchase another which I duly did. I must have exchanged about 20 emails with nearly as many UO customer service operators since, regarding the refund which still has not been issued. I have asked repeatedly to be put in contact with the head of customer services in order to lodge an official complaint but still just batted from one operator to another via email. The last one guaranteed a resolution by yesterday, but nothing, and no reply to my follow up. Absolutely shocking customer service.

If I could give a no star rating I…

If I could give a no star rating I would. This company is shocking. I ordered a pair of joggers on the 4th of January, after two weeks they hadn’t arrived, so I emailed enquiring about where they were. They told me to give it another week, and if they hadn’t arrived to send them another email. Sure enough, they didn’t arrive so I emailed them again. I’ve just now gotten a response to say that my package is presumed to be lost. I read loads of reviews about this happening to other people, but I figured I would take the chance. I wish I hadn’t! It really seems like Urban Outfitters haven’t got their act together. Shocking, and I’m really disappointed too.

Petty and unreliable

Have been a loyal customer of theirs since 2015.
They started using a terrible shipping service as of late called Laser Ship. They'll post the package as delivered yet it never was. This happened more then once. I had to open a complaint with my bank to get a refund. Now I've been banned from shopping there. Not my fault they use a shipping service who can't do their job.
